Workshop Description:
This course will provide an introduction to the Brava system developed by Brius technologies, a lingual custom orthodontic appliance made out of Nickel Titanium alloy that uses independent tooth movement to move the teeth independently and simultaneously, aligning teeth in a fraction of the time. Biomechanics of the system will be thoroughly explained and a variety of cases treated with Brava will be showcased using step-by-step records from start to finish.
Course Objectives:
- To learn about Independent Tooth Movement
- To understand the benefits of the Brava system and how it is different from any other orthodontic systems available
- Learn about how to use the digital platform of the system
- Observe step by step progress of several cases all treated by the Brava system.
Speaker: Dr. David Alfi
Dr. Hessam Rahimi is a diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics and a clinical advisor for the BRIUS® technologies Inc. Dr. Rahimi received his Orthodontic training at Harvard school of Dental Medicine where he also received his Doctorate degree in Oral Biology (DMSc) in 2011. He later received his Master of Business Administration degree from University of Texas at Dallas after he moved to Texas in 2011. He currently has two practices in Dallas and Garland where he has treated more than 10000 patients ever since. In 2019 and as an early adopter, he started using Brius® and since then he has treated more than 500 patients with this technology, making him the most experienced provider of this technology around the globe.
