3D Printing in Everyday Implant Practice: Applications and Best Practices

Workshop Description:

Explore the transformative potential of 3D-printing in dental implant practice. This course covers the fundamentals of 3D-printing technology, its practical applications, and best practices.

Course Objectives:

Participants will learn about digital imaging, surgical guide fabrication, custom prosthetics, and in-house lab integration.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on workshop, where they will learn to navigate 3D-printing software, optimize designs, and operate 3D printers.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to incorporate 3D-Printing for Single Implant cases as well as for Full Arch Implant Treatments in their practice.

Speaker: Dr. Nakul Rathi

Nakul Rathi, after his dental degree, pursued his interest in implants at New York University, with a year-long fellowship program. He then went on to do Masters of Science (MS) and Advanced Prosthodontics Clinical Residency Program from The Ohio State University, Columbus (OSU) that is the oldest Prosthodontics program in the USA. His two-year experience at the Implant Clinic at OSU gave him a chance to work in a clinic that has treated over 25000 implants.

He has lectured on implant dentistry at multiple dental organizations. He was selected among the ‘New and Emerging Speakers’ by the American Dental Association at ADA Annual Meeting. He is a KOL & Faculty for Carestream, Straumann, Osstem/Hiossen and Ackuretta.

He is co-founder of Get Implant LLC, a dental implant company based out of Houston. He is currently focusing on implant centric private practice at EZ Dental Clinic and Hi Dental Care in Houston. He also works as a consultant Prosthodontist at New Pars Dental Laboratory.

Away from dentistry, he is a keen traveler and loves to travel with friends and family. He likes sports and plays basketball at national level.
